Thanksgiving

We had a delicious dinner over at my parents house! It was fun because all of our family was there. Hadlee mostly had Cheerios for Thanksgiving dinner, but she tasted a little mushed up homemade noodles! She liked them alot! We played some family Guitar Hero and watched a movie too.

TEETH

Wow! I have to post this so we can remember when it happened! Had's has her first tooth! It started noticeably coming out last Sunday! Now she has her bottom left tooth just poking out a millimeter or two! It is so cute when she talks or smiles and it shows! Honestly, she was pretty tough too! She was not quite her usual happy self, but not bad at all - who would blame her! Her second bottom one is on the way!

New Moon

We got to go to New Moon on Thursday, the day before it opened . . . Thanks to Broc! Colton wasn't dying to go, so he stayed home with Hadlee! My mom and I went instead! Good movie for sure! I am usually an Edward fan, but I don't know about the movie Edward - he bugs me!! I think I'd have to go for Jacob when I watch the movie!

Silly at Seven Months

Hadlee personalitly comes through more and more each month. Silly is a good way to describe Hadlee most of the time because she is always SO SO happy. There is hardly ever a time she isn't smiling and excited! The silly comes in the most, because her new favorite thing is to do something funny and laugh at herself - making everyone around her laugh too. Late last night she kept hugging me and putting her mouth on my shoulder or face and wiggling it to make a funny noise. Then, she'd look right at me and laugh and of course I'd laugh too. She is so fun to play with. A few more SUPER CUTE things about Hadlee, she:

-Interacts - talks to people and talks back

-Still says "Ooo" at everything - especially when handed something!

-Now she talks even more. New sounds - n's, m's, l's, p's, b's

-Talks in her sleep

-Likes to make fun noises with her tongue

-Loves to eat cereal and says "Mmm" when she gets it

-Really wants to eat other food - anything that isn't actually made for babies

-Loves to unload her toy baskets

-Helps cook - digs her fingers into everything

-Tries to stand and walk

-Screams back and forth with Colton

-Prefers people she knows

-Loves, loves, loves to smile and laugh

Carving and Cookies

We went to make sugar cookies with Grandma and Chloe.

Hadlee had so much fun, of course! She always loves making and playing in messes! Playing in the dough while we roll it out.
Flour everywhere on this girl! With a little help from us! Her cheeks are so heavy when she thinking hard!

Anytime there is a bowl of anything - Hadlee gets her fingers in there to investigate!

And she loves it all!!

We carved pumpkins with my family too. Hadlee really likes getting gooey! She LOVED the pumpkin guts - squishing them between her fingers, on her legs, and even eating them! Watch out for Colton and the knife!

Halloween Fun

Hadlee's first costume this year was this cute, fuzzy pumpkin. We bought it for her because it looked warm and comfy. Also, we were trying to all match - I am never one to spend a lot of time or money on costumes - so we were going to be a pumpkin, witch, and dracula. We didn't try the costume on Hadlee until we got to our Halloween party. Well, her 6-9 month costume was way to small for our petite 6 month old! Who would have guessed! She was a good sport and we cut out the bottom so her poor feet could get out!

Hadlee had fun at the Halloween party. She liked looking at everyone in their fun costumes, but if they tried to hold her she would cry! I think she was a little scared by everything!

Hadlee came to my school for the Halloween parade. We didn't want her to have to wear her tiny pumpkin costume . . . so. . . we made her a witch like her mom. We made her a cape and a cute witch's hat! Unfortunately, the hat wouldn't stay on! All these costume troubles!

So Serious

We took Hadlee to Target to get some pictures taken. I really wasn't worried about her smiling in her pictures. Honestly, she is such a happy girl all the time. She is always smiling and smiling and giggling. Her personality is so fun! I knew that even if she was tired, she would smile. Well . . . I was so wrong. The room was kind of dark and the flash kept going off, of course. Hadlee didn't even begin to smile. She had this perplexed look the whole time! Her mouth didn't ever even start to turn upward! Oh well, I think these pictures are so cute! Her eyes are so sparkly!

6 Months Goes So Fast

Hadlee is a whole - half year old! Actually, she is almost 7 months, I'm slow posting! She is so much fun, I can't even explain it! Her little personality shows all the time. Some fun things she does now . . .

- Totally recognizes people. She gets excited to see people. This one is my favorite! After I come home from school, I love to walk in and see her! She gets so excited to see me too!

-Knows her name and looks at the person talking to her

-Says "Da-Da" and "Hi." When she says "Hi" she ususally does it when she first sees someone, it's perfect!

-Says "OOOH" all the time, especially at the store! Her timing is perfect and she says it whenever you hand her something new.

-Is always busy, busy! She wants to hold everything, take everything out, and put it all in her mouth! She loves to load and unload things, like baskets and bowls.

-Starting to try to pull her self up and stand by things

-She will lean, get to her hands about to crawl, then dives forward to get things

-Giggles at her self! Sometimes, its a sounds like a forced laugh! It is so funny!
-Has started to try and stay up late to play! Oh no! Not already!

-Still wants everything in her mouth. She still wants some of everyones food, but she doesn't like the taste of it. She pulls yucky faces at anything but french fries!

Brad Paisley Concert

I have been really bad at posting later!  I sure hope I catch up . . .

A few weeks ago, Colton was at the BYU game.  Hadlee and I went to the Brad Paisley Concert.  I was kind of worried that it would be too loud or that she couldn't sleep, but it turned out great!  She slept for about half of it and watched the other.  She loved the lights!
